The health care market is booming in China and there are many opportunities as a result. In particular there is high demand within Clinical Research as well as in Commercial, Manufacturing, Medical and Medical Affairs, Government Affairs and Biostatistics Data Management.

Coming quarter

Companies are aggressively hiring candidates and there will be many jobs available this quarter.

Executive recruitment

Many employers are trying to return their highest profit so they are constantly reviewing and adjusting their strategies which need to be implemented rapidly. This is creating opportunities at the senior level, particularly in change management.

Employer trends

Employers are looking overseas for Chinese nationals interested in returning home. They will also consider overseas candidates with the right experience who would like to work in China. The motivation to work in China is so high at the moment there is very little need to offer incentives to attract candidates.

Candidate trends

With so many opportunities available to them, candidates are moving very frequently for better pay, greater titles and more responsibility. Overseas candidates are willing to come to China for very little increase and in some cases, for less pay.
