The economy is slowly recovering and the number of opportunities within the HR function is slowly increasing. The market still needs more time to fully comeback. Senior HR vacancies are much more than the same time last year.

The coming quarter

More positions will be available across all sectors in the coming quarter, which will bring attention to talent attraction and retention. Remuneration will be a popular attraction strategy, and hence a certain increase in package is expected.

There is demand for Senior HR professionals. Better opportunities are coming back to the market and creating a cycle of change at the senior level.

Employer trends

There are more vacancies however employers are likely to maintain strict selection criteria. Only candidates with similar industry background can gain interview opportunities.

Candidate trends

Many candidates have started looking for good opportunities now after waiting more than a year. The majority of candidates are still very cautious and will take a full consideration before any decision.
