This candidate comes from a strong public sector background, having worked within state government departments for nearly 10 years. During that time they have held the roles of Personal and Executive Assistant, providing support to a range of functions that contribute to an efficient and effective briefing and correspondence service to the Director, Financial Management Services and Director, Infrastructure Management Services where they were responsible for the delivery of efficient and effective briefing and correspondence work practices within the Directorates.
This candidates has also been involved in writing and editing strategic briefings, response letters to internal and external audiences as well as monitoring the Parliamentary calendar, planning, scheduling and communicating the process to ensure timely delivery of Parliamentary briefings and responses to Parliamentary questions.
They are able to adapt to a change of environment, take on new tasks and projects when required and work collaboratively to coordinate and adjust briefing workloads according to changing priorities.
This candidate has excellent interpersonal skills when listening and paraphrasing, communicating verbally and in writing and has an advanced knowledge of Microsoft programs including, Word for Windows, Excel, Access, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, Microsoft Outlook, scanners, colour printers, PDF files and zip files
